How to Export Inventor models to IFC BIM files?

Export your Inventor Assemblies (.iam) and Parts (.ipt) as an IFC file using our IFC Exporter plugin in Inventor.
The Exported IFC file contains all the design data information along with the model properties/metadata, the heirarchy and IFC Categories.
The Exported IFC file can be imported inside any BIM applications that support the import of IFC files such as Revit, Tekla, ArchiCAD, Navisworks, etc.
BIMDeX provides options to simplify the Inventor model easily and export based on Views & Level of Details, while maintaining the Inventor model Hierarchy and allows the user to map Inventor parts to specific IFC Categories.

Model Hierarchy

The same Hierarchy from the Inventor model will be maintained in IFC. Users can view the hierarchy in any supported IFC Viewers.

Unique GUID

Option for the user to maintain a unique GUID for each component. Users can make it as Static or Dynamic based on the requirement.

Coordinate System Based Export

Option for the user to export the model based on the desired UCS. This will help the user to change the model Orientation.

Exclusion / Simplification Options

Option to ignore parts, Subassemblies, and Hidden components.
