How to Export SolidWorks models to Revit?  ​

  • Export your SolidWorks Assemblies (.sldasm) and Parts (.sldprt) as a BXF file using our SolidWorks Exporter plugin.
  • The Exported BXF file contains all the design data information along with the model properties/metadata and the heirarchy information.
  • Import the BXF file inside Revit using the Revit Importer Plugin to obtain native Revit Projects (.rvt) and families (.rfa)
  • BIMDeX allows users to simplify the geometry and export only parts and assemblies that are needed and also instantiates the parts in Revit for better usability.
