Component Categories
BIMDeX will automatically categorize the components (Pipe, Pipe Inlet, Structures, etc.,) during export and the same will be mapped to corresponding categories in Revit.
Design Data Transfer
Components like Pipes, Pipe Fittings, Pipe Accessories, etc., will be created as System families in Revit automatically. Other components will be created as loadable families.
Metadata Information
All the metadata information from the Plant 3D model can be transferred to Revit either as Shared Parameters or Family Parameters.
Maintain Instances
BIMDeX also maintains Instantiation inside Revit for ease of editability and facilitates better BOQ generation.
Support for XREFs
Export all Xref's from Plant 3D as separate Revit link files for ease of access in Revit.
Support for Native AutoCAD Elements
Native AutoCAD elements such as Blocks, PolyMesh, Solids, etc will also be exported to Revit.
Exclusion & Grouping Options
Xref's, Locked & Hidden Components can be excluded along with any orphan geometries in the model.
Native AutoCAD elements can also be excluded based on Layer and Block Name.
Components can also be grouped based on Layer Name & Object Type.
Export based on Coordinates
The Plant 3D model can be exported based on WCS or UCS. The same can be imported in Revit too based on the desired Coordinate system.
Option to choose Revit Templates
Users can import the model in any desired Custom Generic Revit templates based on the requirement.
